How do online Quran classes work in the UK?
Classes are live one-to-one video lessons of 30 minutes, booked on UK time and usually taken after school, in the evening or at weekends. A teacher listens to the student recite and corrects mistakes as they happen. Quranic Ways Online teaches families across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
For many Muslim families across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, the local mosque's Quran classes clash with school runs, homework and work shifts. Quranic Ways Online offers a flexible alternative: private, one-on-one Quran lessons at home, timed around UK routines.
After-school slots, weekday evenings after work, and weekend mornings are all available on UK time. Whether your child is starting Qaida or you're an adult returning to the Quran after years away, your teacher works at your pace, with no one else in the class.

How Quran classes fit around UK family life
After the school day, on UK time
UK schools usually finish around 3 to 3:30pm, which leaves time for a short Quran lesson after tea and before homework. All classes are booked in UK time, so there's nothing to convert.
Clock changes handled for you
The UK switches between GMT and BST twice a year. Because your class is booked in your local time, it stays at the same time on your clock after each change.
An alternative to the evening madrasah
Many British Muslim children spend several evenings a week at a mosque madrasah, often in large groups. A private online lesson gives the same routine without the commute, with a teacher listening only to your child and correcting every mistake.
Half-terms and school holidays
Half-term breaks and the long summer holiday are a good time to add extra classes, for example to finish Noorani Qaida or strengthen Hifz revision, then return to your usual timetable when term starts again.
New to Islam in the UK?
If you have recently embraced Islam, we have dedicated classes for reverts that start from absolute zero, beginning with Surah Al-Fatiha and the short surahs you need for prayer, taught patiently and privately on UK time.
