The letter و (not و Maddah) is produced when the lips make an "o" shape with a gap between them like when we say WOW now say the letter و your lips rounding with a gap between them. Let's take some examples: وَاحِدُ don't say ووحد its وَاحِدُ وَاِیَّاکَ وَلَد .
What is و Maddah ?
When و have sukoon and it’s occurs after dammah(paish) then we stretch the و, and it’s called و Maddah .
